La Corona Del Mar's proximity to the Pacific Ocean does not come at the expense of freeway access. The Harbor Freeway (110) is just 10 minutes away, putting Downtown Los Angeles as well as most of Orange county within reach. Long Beach is 15 minutes away, just on the other side of the Vincent Thomas Bridge.

Public transit is readily available to many areas of the greater Los Angeles basin:

Metro buses lines 445 (2 blocks away) & 446 (right across the street) (www.metro.net)

will take you directly to Downtown LA via freeway
link to the Metro Green Line which provides speedy service to El Segundo/LAX to the West and Downey/Norwalk to the East

Max (Municipal Area Express) buses provide commuter service from San Pedro to the El Segundo employment district (www.maxbus.com)

You can also catch the LADOT Commuter Express 142 (www.ladottransit.com) connects downtown San Pedro to the Long Beach Transit Mall (www.lbtransit.org).

All buses have bike racks! (www.metro.net/riding_metro/bikes) so you can have your own convenient and GREEN transportation at both ends of your bus/train commute.
